A storm in June of 2009 threatened a good lightning storm and as always, I was out waiting and trying to shoot the action. As most NW thunderstorms, it fizzled down to nothing and this was the only image I got with lightning in it. Taken from the west hills above Hood River and visible in the photo are the lights of Hood River, the HR Toll Bridge, the Columbia River Gorge, and also the towns of Bingen and White Salmon, Washington.
