Chanterelle mushrooms grow in wet tree covered areas in the Northwest during the fall time. A true mushroom hunter will never share exact locations. :) Chanterelles are among the best eating mushrooms in the world and known to have high amounts of vitamin C, potassium, and possibly the richest source of vitamin D known. Now get out there and hunt... they're waiting for you! PS- Please have a mushroom expert identify the species before you consume anything, there are many poisonous varieties that look very similar!
