A rare view of Mt. Saint Helens along with the Columbia River Gorge seen as well. Image photographed from the top of Mt. Defiance in January of 2009 during a weather inversion. The inversion kept warm air up high and cool air low under a blanket of clouds. This is long 30 second exposure during the middle of the day, achieved with a neutral density filter.
