I noticed the new winter issue of Columbia Gorge Magazine is on newsstands now, and if you've seen it, this image will look familiar because it's on the cover! Photographed new years eve 2008 as some friends and I were snowshoeing to the Tilly Jane A-Frame cabin to stay for the night. The trees are burned from the Gnarl Ridge Fire that burned on Mt. Hood in August of 2008.
