A recent photo of the "new" White Salmon river meeting the Columbia River Gorge. The Condit Dam was breeched about a month ago and washed sand and sediment downriver, forming a new sandbar where the water was previously 20 (or more) feet deep. In the background is Mt. Hood standing tall over the town of Hood River Oregon.
