Morning of December 17th, 2013 there was (I think) a thermal inversion which kept low lying clouds over the Columbia River Gorge for many hours. The "river" of clouds went on for miles and miles, very cool sight to see! This is taken from the bluff of Mt Underwood, looking South-East towards Hood River and Mt Hood. This is a panorama compiled and stitched together from 13 vertical images.
