Driving home on Interstate 84 yesterday (12/17/13) I happened to notice this Bald Eagle hanging out on a Oak tree not far off the freeway. Not being safe to stop or pull over quickly on the freeway I proceeded to the exit and got right back on freeway the other direction. I pulled off where there was a safe median and got a few photos of this beautiful animal, who was very curious about me. I was hoping to get Mt Adams in the background but it was just behind the fog, so instead I included the White Salmon River Bridge in the background. You'd never know while taking this image I was leaning against a giant billboard, and there were semi trucks constantly in & out of the frame.
