After finishing up a wedding shoot late last night I was tired and weary, but couldn't resist taking advantage of the opportunity to head out to a location away from lights to photograph the beautiful stars! The stars were bright and skies were clear, with some occasional clouds rolling through. The moon was setting just behind the ridge, which made for some interesting shadows cast over this beautiful farm positioned at the foothills of Mt Hood. So nice to get away for a moment and observe/appreciate the stillness and beauty of the night skies. Hope you all are having a wonderful summer, and have gotten some moments outside to see this magic for yourselves. There's nothing quite like it!
