I spent the afternoon photographing a photo assignment for Lost Lake Resort & Campground. They've recently updated all of their lodge rooms and cabins (which are all looking really fantastic!!) and needed photos for the website & advertising. I was fortunate to get a beautiful Fall day to shoot up there, and time it just right so that when I was done photographing the accommodations, I zipped over to the other side of the lake to see what was happening with the sunset on Mt Hood. It didn't disappoint! I could tell the incredible light on Hood wouldn't last long, so I sprinted down to the lake, found my spot, setup the camera and barely got a couple images before the sun disappeared behind clouds and the light was gone. This is the first snow of 2014 to substantially cover the mountain. I'm grateful to have been there to photograph this sunset before they lock the gates for the season very soon!
