This was taken about 20 minutes after the previous image of the Northern Lights. The fog and clouds rolled in quick, completely blocking the view of the light show in the sky. I was a little disappointed to be missing it, but also realized the orchard I was standing in at 4AM on a full moon night had taken on a completely new feel. One of my favorite things about owning and knowing how to use a camera, is being able to photograph a scene and translate the way it felt being there in the final image. It doesn't always work out perfectly that way, but sometimes it does. When I view this image, it brings me right back to that eerie, but also calm, peaceful, and strange feeling of my short time there. Not sure if that translates though to folks not there. What does this image make you feel, if anything? I'd love to hear your thoughts :)
