The sun rises and first light hits the Eastern flanks of Mt Hood and Hood River Bridge. A long 60-second exposure was used to create a more dramatic visual look with the clouds in the sky and water of the Columbia being blurred. This was photographed on a cold winter morning in 2009. There are two things you can see in this image that have changed and outdate the photo. Any guesses from the savvy Gorge Locals what they are? © Blaine Franger 2015
