Yesterdays image was looking South towards Mt Hood and todays image is a 180 degree turn the other way, looking to the North. I took a flight with a friend on March 30, 2015 in his Super Cub 2-seater plane to attempt to photograph the Hood River Valley at it's peak bloom. This is the "Heights" of Hood River with orchard trees in full bloom. The Hood River is seen on the bottom right and the Columbia River Gorge in the middle, which separates Oregon & Washington. Mt Adams stands 12,280 feet tall in the background as well as the city of White Salmon up on the hill below Mt Adams. © Blaine Franger 2015
