Another incredible aerial view from my flight on March 30, 2015 in a Super Cub 2-seater plane. The light & clouds were being temperamental, so when the sunlight dropped off the mountains and orchards, we just flew elsewhere. In this case, right over the Columbia River to get that iconic view down the Gorge showing the turns in the river, and ridges of the mountainsides. And other things seen worth nothing, to name a few: Hood River Toll Bridge, Hood River Marina, Nichols Boat Basin, The Sandbar, The Hook, Wells Island, Mitchell Point, Interstate 84, and the Underwood Bluff. No shortage of things to photograph around here :)
