Hood River locals might remember the 2 week long thermal inversion we had during January of 2009 when it was freezing temps in town under all the clouds and in the 50's and 60's and totally sunny on Mt. Hood. Made for some interesting weather and clouds! One of those days I actually made it to the top of Mt. Defiance on my dirtbike and shot some great images of the bed of clouds and the Mts poking out of them.
